Toyota Racing Trophy Ring Case
If you’re a fan of NASCAR or the Daytona 500 you’ll know we were pleased as punch when the Toyota Racing Team asked us to build a custom case for their trophy rings (think Super Bowl rings but for race cars). They requested something simple but elegant. We made this case from a single continuous piece of Black Walnut and virtually every joint is mitered so the grain is continuous all the way around the box. It’s finished up with solid brass positive stop hinges and half-mortise lock, with tinted tempered glass. Can’t wait till they fill this one up so we can make the next one - GO TOYOTA GO!
