The Thunderbolt Table is a solid Maple cocktail table that is the perfect backdrop for this gradated array of Cherry panels. Each panel features bilateral Lichtenberg figures, a fractal burn that is formed gradually as high voltages are applied to wet wood. The burns grow slowly as the current tries to find the path to the alternate node, resulting in gorgeous patterns reminiscent of river tributaries or neurons.

To build the Thunderbolt Table, we used Hard Maple, Cherry, and Lichtenberg Figuring to ensure a durable and beautiful piece.
