TANSU DRESSER

A dresser is an essential piece of furniture for any bedroom, and it should always accent the space. The Tansu dresser is an elegant and timeless piece that enhances any room. This dynamic piece was inspired by the Japanese Tansu case design, and features hand-cut floating tenon joinery and curved sides and drawer faces. Accenting the piece are Lichtenberg fractal burns, produced by applying high voltages to wet wood, which gradually forms gorgeous branching patterns that evoke river systems or bonsai trees.

At Keefrider Custom Furniture, we can craft a piece similar to our Japanese-style dresser for your home; this project serves as an example of our skills. No idea is too big or complicated for us, and we love crafting one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture. Decorating your house with furnishings you love makes it feel more like a home and allows you to show off your impeccable taste. We hand select every piece of hardwood we use to create a project to ensure homeowners only get the best quality piece.

When creating the Tansu dresser, we used African Mahogany, Poplar Uprights, and Lichtenberg Burns. Contact us if you have any questions about the Tansu dresser or if you’d like to schedule a consultation to begin drafting your handmade furniture idea.
